Several Lake County Culver’s locations will be holding fundraisers for Humane Indiana on select days this month. Lisa Carpenter, Chief Development Officer for Humane Indiana, told the Region News Team the public can participate every Wednesday this month, starting tomorrow at Culver’s Merrillville location, by presenting a flyer or mentioning Humane Indiana, and ten-percent of the proceeds from your purchase will go to the non-profit.

Carpenter says the funds raised will go to support the animals at their Munster and St. John shelters.

Culver’s fundraiser days will be the following Wednesdays in January:

January 10, Culver’s of Merrillville, 1579 E 79 Ave., Merrillville.
January 17, Culver’s of Highland, 3950 Ridge Road, Highland.
January 24, Culver’s of Schererville, 980 W Lincoln Hwy., Schererville.

Also, throughout the month of January, the participating Culver’s locations of Crown Point, Merrillville, Highland, and Schererville, will be collecting monetary donations for Humane Indiana.

To obtain a flyer, visit www.humaneindiana.org or stop at Humane Indiana’s Adoption Centers, 421 45th St, Munster, and 10255 Wicker St, St. John, or Humane Indiana Resale Shoppe, 8149 Kennedy Ave, Highland.
